The external walls show us that many alterations were made to the house. Modern brick, stone, rubble were all used to build walls. Some chimmneys have a clay pipe liner which has also been used for drains. The photo above shows what seems to be an attempt at modernisation . |

Some features still show on the external and internal walls. Not sure about the hole , black streak is a chimmney and three fireplaces. Just think, your ancestors sat at these fires. |

The ruins of St Ninians. The Leslie's did not want the locals worshiping on the estate grounds so made them build another church right at the edge of the estate (St Johns). Leslie gravestones are still in among the undergrowth and bushes. The church destroyed St Ninians as it was unsafe after so many years lying derelict. |
